More Xylitol intoxications

We've talked about this before, but it bears repeating: xylitol (a natural, low calorie sweetener) is everywhere. It's harmless to people, but it's very toxic to dogs. This past weekend we had 4 dogs in the hospital at one time, all of which had eaten chewing gum that had xylitol as an ingredient! Fortunately these dogs did well, but xylitol can be fatal to dogs.

Don't let your dogs get in to your purse or candy jar!
